Shifting global agriculture and food systems to a low-carbon and climate-resilient pathway.

The world needs to feed more people while fighting climate change, but the agriculture and food sectors that could help solve this problem aren't getting the investment they need. CLIC connects impact investors with the agrifood businesses that can actually make a difference.
The funding gap holding back our food future
Low-carbon and resilient agrifood systems are vital to ensure the food security of a growing human population and global economic development. Agrifood systems include high-emitting and climate-vulnerable sectors, yet climate finance flowing to them remains low. The ClimateShot Investor Coalition (CLIC) aims to solve this by connecting impact investors to nature-positive agribusiness, highlight research publications, and keep members up to date with activities and tangible outputs.
Directing money where it matters
By working closely with small agrifood businesses to strengthen their climate and biodiversity offerings, CLIC ensures that investment is directed to the projects that will have the greatest impact. Their research publications highlight gaps in global agrifood investment and track progress in climate-positive agriculture development. CLIC's work increases finance mobilised for agriculture and food systems in emerging economies, and continually influences global consensus on priorities for climate and nature finance for agrifood systems.
